About the event
Class will be held at the PNG Tech and Design Center (Duke Innovation Lab) in Charlotte. The Construction Institute is proud to partner with the HBA of greater Charlotte to provide continue education for licensed general contractors or anyone wishing to stay up on the market changes and building codes. This year we will be providing a 4 hour class on inspection best practices & review of major defects/violations of the NCRBC. Actual site photos will be used to illustrate typical defects found by Code Officials in order to improve industry pass rates. In addition we will provide a 2 hour class on smoke and CO detectors/alarms to include effectiveness of those systems. The final 2 hours will be the NC General Contractors mandatory Board course.
