About the event
Class will be held at the PNG Tech and Design Center (Duke Innovation Lab) in Charlotte. The Construction Institute is proud to partner with the HBA of greater Charlotte for our second year bringing continue education for licensed general contractor or anyone wishing to stay up on the market changes. This class has been broken up into 2-4hr afternoon sessions with the first on June 10th and the second August 12th, 2025. We will cover the changes to the NC Residential Building Code found in the new 2024 edition in order to prepare contractors in advance of the mandatory implementation date. You are registering one time for the full 8 hours (both sessions) needed to renew a GC license for 2026. Course material needed will be emailed in advance of the class and you can cancel anytime for a full refund up to the start of the first class, afterwards…

2-4hr afternoon CE training session sponsored by HBA & TCI for GC 2026 License renewal. This ticket covers admittance for both 4 hour session with the first on June 10th and the second on August 12th, 2025. Lunch is served at 11:30 with class running from 12-4pm each date. Class is approved by the GC Board for full 8hours needed to renew a GC license for 2026.
