IN PERSON - 2023 CE for GC's - 8 Credit Hours including 2 hour mandatory

You are registering for an 8 hour class providing our board approved 4-hour and 2-hour elective classes (see below)  and the 2-hour NCLBGC mandatory class. Upon successful completion of our 8-hour session, credits will be uploaded to the board with the qualifier number provided and certificates of completion will be emailed. Please proved an accurate email when registering to ensure proper delivery of your certificate.

Class Schedule:  

7 am to 8 am:  Registration

8am to 12 pm:  Egress Elements & Amendments

12 pm to 1 pm:  Lunch Break

1 pm to 3 pm:  NCRBC Life Safety Requirements

3 pm to 5 pm:  NCLBGC Mandatory Course

* There will be 10 minute breaks at the end of every hour of course instruction 

4 HOUR ELECTIVE: Egress Elements & Amendments

This course is intended to cover in depth the 2018 NCRBC requirements on the following sections: 

1. R310-Emergency Escape and Rescue Openings
2. R311-Means of Egress
3. R312-Guard Requirements
4. 2023 Building Code Amendments Effective 1-1-2023

2 HOUR ELECTIVE: NCRBC Life Safety Requirements

Course number:  364

This course is intended to cover in depth the 2018 NCRBC requirements:

1. Section R302 Fire Resistant Construction
2. Fire separation distance
3. Dwelling unit separations
4. Fire resistant penetrations
5. Dwelling / garage separation
6. Under-stair protection
7. Fireblocking
8. Draftstopping

2 HOUR ELECTIVE: NCLBGC Mandatory Course 

Course number: 10010

Registration begins at 7:00 am and class will begin promptly at 8:00 am and end at 5:00 pm including 10-minute breaks at every hour and a one hour lunch break. Attendees must be present in class during all instruction periods in order to receive CE credit.

If attendance requirement is not met, credits will not be issued and no refunds will be given. Upon entry, you will be asked to present a valid picture ID and your NCLBGC QUALIFIER NUMBER. This is NOT the same as your license number. You can find your QUALIFIER NUMBER at nclbgc.org. QUALIFIER NUMBERS must be verified to ensure you receive proper credit for the class.
